Within the MatLan project, we have jointly developed:
- a set of assessment tools and procedures of mathematical and transversal skills and guidelines for teachers who use the assessment tools and procedures;
- an elective course curriculum for secondary schools (Doing Math as Researchers Do It).

Multiplier event E1 - 17 March 2016, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
On the 17th of March 2016, the multiplier event Math research makes math exciting took place at Colegiul National Emil Racovita Cluj-Napoca, Romania - please see the agenda of the event. Around 45 math teachers, researchers, educational decision makers, representatives of the French Institute in Romania, Babes-Bolyai University and other universities/ institutions who are interested in math-research for high-school students and math education have attended the event. Participants discussed about students' motivation for learning math, about the innovative approach of the elective course Doing Math as Researchers Do It and about the impact of the European projects on the quality of the education provided to students. Multiplier event E2 - 25 March 2016, Briançon, France
On the 25th of March 2016, the multiplier event Doing math like researchers do it took place at Lycée d'Altitude de Briançon, France. Around 40 teachers, school-inspectors (the math general inspector, the regional math inspector, and the regional English language inspector), and representatives of different associations attended the event. The academies Aix-Marseille, Grenoble, Lyon, Nice and Torino have been represented in our event.
The transdisciplinary team of Lycée d’Altitude, Pierre GRANOUILLET (computer science teacher), Stephan COLAS, Noëlle TROVATO (English teachers), Guillaume FAUX, Mickaël LISSONDE et Hubert PROAL (math teachers), introduced the curriculum of the elective course elaborated within our project (accompagnement personnalisé - MATLAN - L'apprentissage des mathématiques et des langues par la recherche et la coopération).
