MatLan project at the Science Fair - 7-9 October 2015
This year, the MATLAN European project, leads by the Lycée d'Altitude of Briancon, has participated in two actions during "la fête de la science 2015". The MJC of Briançon has received « the spreading» of mathematics on Wednesday October 7th. Their stand was visited by students of primary classes and middle School of the Hautes-Alpes. To adapt to these young audience and to encourage vocations, our three students had prepared posters and models that permitted seeing mathematics in a different way. A very rewarding experience for our high school students. This will be evaluated to enable them to improve their communicating about mathematics competence. This assessment is part of the testing of the assessment instruments developed within the MatLan project. It was done by using a questionnaire form to the public, evaluation grid filled by the teacher, and self-assessment for students (read more).
